2009 People's Choice winners
Winners in the 2009 Australian Country Music People's Choice Awards were announced in Tamworth on Tuesday night (January 20).
Graham Rodger took out two awards, for Best Male Vocal and Best Album for The Fire Within Me.
Amber Lawrence was named winner of Best Female Vocal while Jetty Road won Best Vocal Group.
Carter & Carter took out Best Song with Slow Dancing At Midnight and Matt Manning & John O'Dea were successful in Best Bush Ballad with The Saddle.
Brad Cole won the Most Promising Future Star award.
Most Popular Country Music DJ was announced as Rebecca Gray from Narrabri (NSW) station 2MAX FM while the Community Broadcasting Association's satellite program "Good Morning Country" was named Most Popular Country Music Radio Program.
The Awards were presented in Country Music Capital's Regent Theatre.
